Anna Marie Davis

Anna Marie Davis, 11, of Stillwater, Ok, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at O.U. Children’s Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

A Celebration of Anna’s life will be 2:00pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at Sunnybrook Christian Church in Stillwater with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 9:00am to 8:00pm with family greeting guest from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Anna was born September 26, 2006 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Bethany Anne Barton and Kelly Davis, Sr. She was a fifth grader at Richmond Elementary School.

Anna loved to do gymnastics, sing, fish, swim, paint, and all things craft related. She never met a stranger and always had a bounce in her step. She wanted to be a teacher when she grew up, like her dad, Tommy. She had an infectious laugh that would resonate in your soul. Her smile was brighter than the sun and her eyes always twinkled like stars in the night sky. Her compassion was felt by all who met her whether for a minute or for her lifetime. She has forever engraved a smile on everyone's heart.

Survivors include her father and mother, Thomas Diaz and wife Bethany of the home; biological father, Kelly Ray Davis, Sr. of Stillwater, OK; siblings, Alexandria Grill, Emily Davis, and Jace Davis all of the home, Destiny Davis and Kelly Davis, Jr. of Independence, KS, and Gage Davis of Pawnee, OK; maternal grandparents, Dale and Barbara Darnell of Camdenton, MO; step-grandparents, Thomas, Sr. and Linda Diaz of Fallon, NV, and Gina McGinnity and husband Jay of El Cajon, CA; maternal great-grandmothers, Thelma Marie Ratfield of Omaha, NE and Sylvia Cockman of Overland, MO; 13 aunts and uncles, Brandon Link and wife Lindsey of McChord, WA, Danyel Dunn and wife Helene of Plano, TX, Tasha Sanders and husband Shawn of Perry, OK, Tyler Diaz and wife Katie of Elko, NV, Heather Darnell of St. Louis, MO, Dale Darnell, Jr. and wife Casey of Wichita, KS, Lisa Williams and husband Wade of Park Hills, MO, Derek Davis of Stillwater, OK, Bobby Clay of TX, Tristen Salazar and fiancé Erin of Fallon, NV, Drake Rogue of Turlock, CA, and Isaiah Diaz of Fallon, NV; numerous cousins, and a host of friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her sister, Brianna Nicole Barton; maternal grandfather, Robert Barton; and paternal grandfather, Donald Davis.
