Glenda Tyson

Glenda Lee Tyson passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home in Sweetwater, OK. She was 56. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, OK.

A Celebration of Glenda’s life will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 4PM at Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston, OK. Rev. Kenneth Shults will officiate. Interment will be at Carney Cemetery.

Glenda was born November 5, 1960 in Stillwater, OK, to Jim and Danah (Higgins) Knight.

Glenda was an entrepreneur. She also loved to sit and talk to friends and family about life and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her family was very special to her. She loved all her children and grandchildren, and was very proud of her great-grand baby. Her brother was like none other, she loved him dearly. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include three daughters, Stasha Lynn Drake King and husband Johnathan of Sayre, OK, Stephanie Alise Steele Peters and husband Brandon of Mobile, AL, and Paityn Peters; one brother, James Knight of Stillwater, OK; step-mother, Gladys Knight; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by parents, and one son, Christopher Allen Tyson.
