Larry J Neff

Larry J. Neff, 75, of Maramec, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home. Arrangements are under the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. Family has requested for a cremation and a memorial service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel.

Larry was born on November 14, 1942 in Enid, Oklahoma to Donald C. and Eula Mae (Futhey) Neff. He grew up in the Hunter area and graduated high school in Stillwater in 1960. Larry then attended OSU and received his associates in Construction Management. He met Norma Lee Hrabe and knew they were going to spend the rest of their life together. They married on May 28, 1961 in Stillwater. They celebrated 54 years of marriage before she preceded him in death in 2016. They had two children, Laurie and Brett.

Larry was an avid cowboy who loved rodeos, calf roping, and wild cow milking. He was involved in the Rodeo Round Up Club. After his rodeo career he focused his attention on training race horsers. In his later years of life he was a cattle rancher.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his children, Brett Neff and wife Lisa, and Laurie Clark and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Kaylee, Lindsey, Joseph, Jesse Neff and Chelsey Clark.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Lee Neff; parents; and one brother, Randell Neff.

Memorial donations can be made in his name to Carter Hospice in care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, 5106 North Washington, Stillwater, OK 74075.
