Linda Sue Mcgaha

Linda Sue McGaha, 77, of Morrison, Oklahoma passed away Friday, 9, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater, Oklahoma.

A funeral service celebrating Linda’s Life will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00am at Hilltop Country Church in Morrison, Oklahoma with Rev. Russ Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Morrison Cemetery in Morrison. Visitation will be Monday, February 12, 2018 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater.

Linda was born February 15, 1940 in Davis, Oklahoma to Alex and Beulah (Cunningtubby) Brassfield. She grew up in the Davis area where she attended public School. She later obtained her LPN certification in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She worked as a nurse for the past 30 years until her health began to fail her. One of her most recent places she worked was Grace Living Center in Stillwater. She moved to Morrison in 1978 where she remained until her passing. She was a member of Hilltop Country Church in Morrison where she faithfully attended. She loved to read and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Leigh and husband Kevin of Glencoe, Oklahoma , Johnnie McGaha of Morrison, Oklahoma; one step-son, Nathan McGaha; brother, Jerry Brassfield of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; sister, Patsy O’Shields of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren. Levi Leigh and wife, Joni, McKenzie Leigh, Justin McGaha all of Morrison, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren, Emma Leigh and Elend Leigh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Flora Kirk; and brother, Earl Brassfield.
