Nicola Ross Mcmurray

Nicola Ross McMurray, age 54, of Stillwater,OK, passed away Friday, April 20, 2918 in Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater, OK.

Visitation will be 9AM to 8PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the funeral home. Family will greet guests from 4PM to 6PM. A Celebration of Nicola’s life will be 1PM Thursday, April 26. 2018 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater.

Nicola was born December 4, 1963 in Winchester, VA, to John and Rilla (Harkness) McMurray. She grew up in Andover, MA, where she graduated High School in 1981. After graduation she attended Becker College in San Diego, CA. and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She worked as a Teacher in Early Childhood Development for the next twenty years.

She married Jason Labon on August 13, 2013 in Addison, MA. She was always full of laughter and fun. She enjoyed being the comedian of the group. She also enjoyed sharing her time with others volunteering at different places around town. She had a heart full of love for everyone. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Jason of the home; Step-children, Michael Labon of Stillwater, OK, and Dylan Labon of Ponca City, OK; Father and step-mother, John and Caryl Ann McMurray of Addison, ME; mother, Rilla McMurray of Edinborrough, Scottland; three brothers, Garth McMurray of Boston, MS, Todd French of Cape Code, MA, and Leigh French of Bartlett, TN; two nieces, Ettie and Sammie French of Cape Code, MA. She was preceded in death by both Paternal and Maternal grandparents.
