Amy Holden, 66, of Garber, Oklahoma, went to meet her Lord on January 1, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Chaplain Gary Miller of Circle of Love Hospice will officiate. Palmer Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Amy was born on January 1, 1951 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to John and Maxine (Richardson) Bilyeu. Amy went to Broxton High School and graduated in 1969. Amy married David Holden in September of 1972 in Oklahoma City. Amy was very active in the community theatre in Garber and loved flowers and gardening. She collected salt and pepper shakers and loved doing arts and crafts. She worked most of her life as a daycare teacher, but Amy"s first job was always as a wife, mother and grandmother. One of her favorite things was to spend time with her sisters and brothers celebrating holidays and birthdays. Amy was well known for her beautiful smile and her loving heart. Amy is preceded in death by her parents, John and Maxine Bilyeu. Amy is survived by her husband David; three sons, David Holden of Enid, Alan Holden and Lee and his wife Tracy Holden of Tulsa; one daughter, Jennifer and her husband Mike Tiffany. She is also survived by seven sisters, Carol and her husband, Larry Longan of Perry, Wilma and her husband, Ron Sawyer of Beggs, Oklahoma, Katie and her husband, Terry Diltz of Laramie, Wyoming, Anne and her husband, Mike Kennedy of Perry, Alice and her husband, Gerry Castleberry of Perry, Susan and her husband, Doug Castleberry of Stroud, and Peggy and her husband, Robert Simmons of Tonkawa; two brothers, Gene and his wife, Marilyn Bilyeu of Kansas, and John and his wife, Janet Bilyeu of Pampa, Texas. Amy also leaves behind ten beloved grandchildren.
