Beverly Joyce Brashers

Beverly Joyce (Smith) Brashers, a mother, sister, and grandmother was escorted by Angles to her heavenly home early Sunday morning May 7, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Beverly was born on December 7, 1953 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Earl and Vera (Carr) Smith and was one of six children. At an early age she grew up and attended school in Tulsa where she met and married Russell Mason and to this union a son Brian was born. After this union dissolved she remarried to her late husband of 34 years Doug Brashers.

Beverly had many hobbies. Some of her favorites include painting ceramics, watching western movies, and her collection of purses. Spending time with family and especially her grandchildren was a great highlight of her life. They brought her much joy. She will be remembered for her warm personality, infectious laugh, and smile.

Beverly's memory will be kept alive by her son Brian Mason and wife Beasley of Owasso, Oklahoma; siblings, Ann Hite of Glencoe, Oklahoma; Bob Smith and wife Jackie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Ronnie Smith of Silver City, Oklahoma; Kathy Turney of Perkins Oklahoma; Earlene Lore and husband Dicky of Perkins, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Maxwell and Isla. She goes to be with her loving husband and parents.

Funeral service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 11th at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater with her brother Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will be at 9:00AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 1423 Cemetery Road, Fort Gibson, OK 74434.
