Brenda Carol Milton

Brenda Carol Milton was born in Irvine, Kentucky on August 2nd, 1964 to the late Donald and Dovey Winburn. She was welcomed into God’s embrace on August 4th, 2021 at the age of 57 years and 2 days. Brenda was a proud Navy veteran and served her country for two tours of duty before leaving the military to raise her son and nurture her family. She was known and loved for her sharp wit and humor, endless compassion, and empathy for all she met. She loved to fish, collect Fiestaware, thrifting, watching international soap operas, and trying new foods. She was happiest when spending time with her family and hearing about her son’s progress in his PhD program. She was a fierce and loving mother, sister, and friend. She will be sorely missed by her loved ones.



She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Dovey Winburn and her brothers Stevie and Terry Winburn.



She is survived by her son David Cole Milton, daughter-in-law Nikkoda LaVie, ex-husband David N. Milton, Jr. brothers: Mark, Mike, Bill, Jeff, and Danny Winburn, and her sister Joyce Simpson.
