Calvin C Farmer

July 13, 1925 — January 19, 2022

Calvin Coolidge Farmer, 96 of Stillwater, was reunited with his loving wife on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Calvin was born July 13, 1925 in Blair, Oklahoma to Burnum and Lula Mae (Lee) Farmer. He joined the navy at the young age of 17 and received an honorable discharge after his years of service. He was proud of his country and honored to be called a WWII veteran.

In 1946 he married Betty Rose Petway. They were together for 30 years and were blessed with four wonderful children. After this union was dissolved, he and Sue Wyse were married in Gainesville, Texas on July 27, 1976. They shared 35 good years together until her passing in 2011.

He worked for several years as a mechanic and at Tinker Air Force Base. Calvin enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially O.U. Sports, and played baseball in a civic league. He enjoyed playing the harmonica, mandolin and banjo, and spending time with his family. He will probably be remembered most by the many students at Stillwater Public Schools for his yodeling skills.
