Carolyn Jean Lovell

Carolyn Jean Lovell passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after a brief illness. She was 66. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Carolyn was born May 9, 1954 in Quahna, Texas to Forest Lee and Frances Louise (Medlin) Lovell. She spent most of her young life in Texas before moving to Oklahoma in the early 80's. She has worked as a cook in the restaurant business most of her working career. She worked at Sooners Corner in Perry for 22 years before joining the crew at the Morrison Cafe in 2013 where she worked until her passing. Her tasty creations will be greatly missed by so many.

Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Lovell and wife Roxanne of Canadian, Texas; seven nieces & nephews, Casey Lovell and wife Kelly of Rock Spring, Wyoming, Craig Lovell and wife Tamara of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Liz Jackson and husband John of Moore, Oklahoma, Forrest Lovell and wife April of Morrison, Oklahoma, Crissy Downey and husband Travis of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Scott and Andrew Eidelson both of North Carolina; twelve great-nieces/nephews, Ty, Andreona, Phoebe, Jaden, Garrett, Cecily, Allie, Dayton, Chance, Austin, Spencer, and Nicole.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Kelly Lovell, Ivan Lovell, Bertha Lovell, and Diana Lovell.

Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2020 from 9AM to 1PM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater. Graveside services will be at 3:30PM at the Morrison Cemetery in Morrison, Oklahoma. Pastor Johnny Wagner will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Lovell, Forrest Lovell, Ty Lovell, Travis Downey, John Jackson, and Casey Lovell.

Memorial donations may be made to the Food Bank of Oklahoma in Carolyn's honor.
