Cheryl A. Cooper May

Cheryl A. "Sherrie" Cooper May age 61 formerly of Stillwater passed away in Norman on Monday, May 24, 2010. Her services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. A celebration of her life will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2,2010 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater with Brother Mike Dunn officiating. Cheryl was born on August 4, 1948 in LosAngeles, California and was the daughter of Howard and Billie (Nivisen) Johnson. She grew up in Ames, Oklahoma where she graduated from High School in 1966. She later worked as a department manager for Wal-Mart in Stillwater and had been a resident of Stillwater since 1998. She moved to Norman two months ago and enjoyed reading. She is survived by her children, Joseph Cooper of Woodland Hills, California, Patrick Shane Cooper of Longdale, Oklahoma and Melissa Jayne Lee of Waukomis, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren also survive they are Amanda Lee, Mikaela and Mikenzie Lee, Lindsey Cooper and Amelia Cooper.
