Cy E. Kuffel

Cy E. Kuffel age 92 of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday morning, March 17, 2010 in Stillwater. His services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and at the request of the family no services will be held. Mr. Kuffel was born on April 6, 1917 in St. Cloud, Minnesota and was the son of Adam and Pauline (Skaj) Kuffel. He grew up and graduated Tech High School in Minnesota in 1934. He moved to Oakland, California where he did construction work and entered the service. He served in the Seabees during the War. In 1950 he returned to California and Minnesota where he started a construction company. On September 19, 1938 he was united in marriage to Frances Danelek and she preceded him in death in 1996. In 1977 he moved to Oklahoma. On March 15, 1997 he was united in marriage to Betty Evelyn Kramer Gambrill. His hobbies were making clocks, playing pool and spending time with his family. Cy is survived by his wife, Betty Evelyn Kuffel of the home in Stillwater, Oklahoma; a son, Wayne Kuffel and wife Judy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a daughter, Suzanne Brester of St. Cloud, Minnesota; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; special nieces and nephew, Allen Fulton and wife Debbie and Eugenia Fulton, both of Maramec, Oklahoma and a sister-in-law, Waneta Fulton of Maramec, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances, two brothers and one niece.
