Donald Lorett

Donald L. Lorett, 88, died on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Perkins, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Donald was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on November 21, 1928 to Lambert L. and Alpha May (Fitch) Lorett.
He grew up in Yale and graduated from Yale High School. He then attended two years at Oklahoma State University. After college he joined the army and was a sergeant first class and served in Korea.
Donald married Betty Jean Cowger on April 1, 1972 in Oklahoma City. Together they celebrated 44 years together. Donald was a rural mail carrier for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Lorett.
He is survived by his wife Betty and two sons, Jerry Lorett and Wiley Lorett.
