Doris Jean Lawerence

The Word of the Lord expresses to exit from this present life and human body means to be present with him, the Lord saw fit to call his faithful servent Doris Jean Rolland Lawerence home on June 13, 2010. She was preceeded in death by here mother Minnie L. Westbrook Bryant and Elize Rolland. Doris Jean Rolland Lawerence was born to Minnie L. Westbrook Bryant and Elize Rolland February 2, 1946 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She grew up in the Pawnee and Stillwater communities, and attended school in these communities until her day of gradution in Pawnee Oklahoma at Pawnee High School. She later furthered her education at a Community College in Pawnee, Oklahoma and gradutated with a degree in Graphic Design. Doris Jean Lawerence work for the United Methodist Church in Augusta, KS and retired from Helig Meyer Furniture in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Doris Jean Rolland Lawerence was a faithful memeber of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma under the leadership of Rev. Calvin Miller She later married James I. Lawerence and was married for 25 years in Enid, Oklahoma, and to this union 7 childern were born: Troy L. Lawerence of (Dallas, Texas) Jaime J. Lawerence (Plainsville, KS) Jackie D. Lawerence (Wichita, KS) Candice L. Lawerence (Wichita, KS) Mark I. Lawerence (Lexington, Oklahoma) Charlene S. Lawerence (Wichita, KS) LaTonya Lawerence (Wichita, KS). She also has 22 grandchildren. She leaves to morn her departure from this life 7 Children, 22 Grandchildren, 1 Stepfather Frankie L. Bryant. 3 Brothers John Andrew, Earnest Jr, William and 2 Sisters Margie and Veronica, and a host of Cousins, Nephew and Nieces, and Friends. Memorial Services for Doris Jean Rolland are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home Chapel.
