Gail Lynne Klusmeyer

April 6, 1956 — December 29, 2022

Gail Lynne (Kimbrell) Klusmeyer, 66, passed away at her home in Perry, Oklahoma, on December 29, 2022. Gail was born on April 6, 1956 in Enid, Oklahoma, to Bill and Gladys (Willison) Kimbrell. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 9am-8pm with family greeting guests from 5-7pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Funeral services will held be on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 2PM at the Grace Hill Cemetery Pavilion in Perry, Oklahoma.

Gail spent her early years in Billings, Tulsa, and Cherokee, Oklahoma, where her family owned grocery stores, before they settled near Garber, Oklahoma, where she attended Garber schools in the 1970s.

After high school, Gail worked in the family oil and gas business, where she met the love of her life, Gary. She and Gary Klusmeyer were married on September 10, 1986, in Perry, Oklahoma.

They made their home south of Perry where they ranched and raised their two children. In the early 1990s, Gary and Gail took over the family oil and gas business, B-Line Trucking. Together, they have continued diligently growing this business for over 30 years.

Gail’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and watching them grow. She was an excellent cook that enjoyed serving family and friends - all were welcome at her table. She found peace by watching the cattle graze from her back window. But, she had no greater joy in this life than a home full of family and friends.

Mostly, Gail will most be remembered for her kindness and willingness to always help others.

Gail was proceeded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Gladys Kimbrell, sister Valerie Daniel, and brother Bruce Kimbrell.

She is survived by her loving husband Gary and their children: Shelby (Jamie) Klusmeyer of Garber, Shay (Chelci) Klusmeyer of Perry. Grandchildren: Tyler Miller of Garber, Jayden (Julia) Klusmeyer of Perry, Karleigh Coon of Pawhuska; Graham and Emma-Kate Klusmeyer of Perry. Great-Grandchildren: Journey and Jameson Klusmeyer of Perry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
