Graveside services for Jacquelynn Kay Cooper Sykes of Buckeye, Arizona are scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Grace Hill Cemetery Pavilion with Rev William Metz officiating. Jackie was born on August 14, 1929 to Mary Etta and Willard Benson Cooper. She came along late in life for her parents and was much younger than her siblings. She had one brother, Wilbur Jason Cooper, and two sisters, Mary Drue and Ruvetia Loucresha. They all preceded her in death. Jackie was a child during the start of the depression. She and her parents went to California looking for work, but times were hard and her dad didn"t have any luck finding work. They had a tough time just getting back to Enid. Her mother became ill and passed away in 1940 at the age of 50. Her dad passed away 1967 at the age of 81. Jackie married Robert B. Boydstun on the 29th of August 1948. The couple had two sons, Terry A. Boydstun and Robert Steven Boydstun. Terry and Cathy have three children Heather, Glynn and Wyley, Steven has one daughter Valerie and 3 step-children Rudy, Nicole and Joe by his second wife, Rose. Jackie also had four great grand children. Jackie is also survived by four nieces Laura Kemnitz, Nancy Hildebrand, Marietta Kingle and Francis Painter and two nephews Gary and Phillip Cooper. She was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She loved Christmas and never forgot a birthday. She will be sorely missed by all. She passed away on September 9, 2009 in Casa Grande, Arizona at the age of 80. Online condolences may be sent using our online guestbook at www.perryfuneralh.com.
