Jeanetta Pressley

Jeanetta Pressley, a longtime Perkins resident passed away at her sons home in Cushing at the age of 76. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Perkins Cemetery.

Jeanetta was born on September 9, 1935 in Wellston, Oklahoma to the late Benjamin Ray and Vera (Zimarou) Foulks. She grew up in California and was educated in California. While growing up, she worked in the canneries in California. On August 4, 1951 she married the love of her life Carroll C.D. Duane Pressley. They made their home in California for a number of years, returning to Stillwater in 1963. She worked at O.S.U as a housekeeper for a number of years. Jeanetta enjoyed gardening, painting and tracing genealogy. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Jeanetta is survived by her sons Calvin Ray Pressley of Tyler, Texas, Duane Pressley of Cushing, Kevin Pressley and wife Marina of Cushing, daughter Ronda Pressley Smith and husband Mike of Decatur, Tx., grandchildren Tim Pressley, Raychelle Herrington, Jason Smith, Kelsey Smith, Chad Pressley, Shannon Rhodes, Mitchell Pressley and Kati Pressley; 8 great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband C.D., and three brothers Charles Chuck Foulks, Robert Bob Foulks, and Gary Foulks.
