Jeanne Kay Schmidt, age 51 of Stillwater passed away on Saturday August 16, 2008 at the Stillwater Medical Center.
Jeanne was born on September 14, 1956 in Stillwater, Oklahoma the daughter of Don and Jean (Caldwell) Cornett. She was the oldest of seven children, six girls and one boy. Jeanne was a very special and very loving person. She was a person who accepted everyone, no matter what. She spent her life giving so others could be happy. If there was an award for Mom of the Year, she would have won it. She supported her children in all their endeavors and she enjoyed her twin grandsons immensely.
Jeanne enjoyed life. She enjoyed traveling, and was particularly fond of visiting New Orleans, LA and Savannah, GA.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip W. Schmidt, her three children: Phillip L. Schmidt, Timothy W. Schmidt, and Sara Jean Mullen and her husband Kyle of Castle Rock, Colorado, her two grandchildren, Joshua and Casey Mullen, her brother and five sisters, and an extraordinary amount of family and friends who loved her very much. She is also survived by her father, Don Cornett, of Perkins.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Cornett.
Memorial services and reception will be held on Saturday August 23, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Perkins Christian Church in Perkins, Oklahoma as arranged by Cindy Womack and Charles Wall. Charles Wall will be officiating the eulogy. All other arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marlar Carberry Funeral home of Stillwater.
