Jesse Eugene Hoisington

Jesse Eugene Hoisington, 52, of Stillwater died at his home on Friday December 16, 2005.
Services were held at University Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater at 2:00 PM Thursday December 22, 2005. Paul Jones, Robert Turner and Steve Burke officiated. Interment will be at Longview Cemetery in Ponca City, OK at a later date. Hoisington was born in Ponca City, OK on March 6, 1953 to Jesse A. Hoisington and Mary K. (Burke) Hoisington. He attended school in Ponca City and graduated from C.E. Donart High School in 1971 in Stillwater. Jesse was a very active member of the FFA, and was an active supporter in his adult life. Jesse loved to fish in his youth. He was an accomplished mechanic. He worked for many automobile dealerships in Ponca City and Stillwater, OK, and had his own shop for some time. He enjoyed running the sound systems for various churches and was active with various church functions throughout his life. Most recently he was employed by the Stillwater Public School system. He was gifted in the ability to repair most anything. He was always doing anything he could to help children. Jesse was a very generous man.
Jesse was united in marriage August 11, 1972 to Donna Ramsey, now Donna Quinn.
He is survived by his son Jesse Nicholas Hoisington of Pasadena, Texas; one sister, Linda Hoisington of Ithaca, New York; one brother, Jeff Hoisington and his wife Laura of Stillwater; one grandson Lucas Hoisington of Pasadena, Texas; one aunt, Orvalee Hart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one uncle, William L. Burk, Sr. and his wife Evelyn of Stillwater; other family members and a host of friends.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Payne County Youth Services, 2224 W. 12, Stillwater, OK 74074, because of Jesses love for children
