Jimmy Ray Ross, 49, passed from this life on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Stillwater, OK. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Glencoe Multipurpose Building in Glencoe, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 27, 2015 from 8:00am to 8:00pm at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born on March 5, 1966 to Carol and Jesse Ross in Stillwater, OK. He grew up in the Stillwater/Glencoe area and graduated from Glencoe High School in 1984. After high school, Jimmy started working at Stillwater Milling Company and proudly worked for them for 31 years. He loved the work, his co-workers, and all the people he met while working.
On January 22, 1991, Jimmy married the love of his life, Crystal, at the Assembly of God in Stroud. They had four children, Brandi, Dakota, Hailey, and Sierra. He loved his family more than anything else. He made sure that they had anything and everything they every needed. He supported them in all their activities, and helped coaching them in their sports.
Jimmy loved his Lord and Savior. He was an active member in the Tribe of Judah Motorcycle Ministry. He was a committed man and read scripture every day. He was a man of the Lord, a loving husband and father.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Crystal Ross; children, Brandi Ray, Dakota Duster, Hailey Nicole, and Sierra Renee; parents, Carol and Jesse Ross; two siblings, Bobbi Jan Cates and husband, Jeff, Rodney Lynn Ross, Sr. and wife, Val; one grandchild, Jesse Isaac Ross.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jimmys name to Tribe of Judah Motorcycle Ministry or Oklahoma Diabetes in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington. Stillwater, OK 74075.
