Larry Winingear, 55 of Mulhall, passed from this life on Monday, December 28, 2015 in Enid, OK with his family by his side. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Larry was born on October 2, 1960 to Berlie Floyd and Edna Mae (Miller) Winingear in Fulton, Missouri. Larry was raised and attended school in Fulton, where he graduated from Fulton High School in 1979. After high school, he began a long career in roadway construction. In 1982, Larry and his brother Evan moved to the Stillwater/Mulhall area to work on the road crew for Kerns Construction. Larry was very mechanically inclined, which came in handy when fixing things around the house, working on his car, or assembling and repairing his grandchildrens toys. L

arry considered his three children: Craig, Melissa, and Michelle, to be his most successful accomplishment. He was a proud dad and he spent all his free time with his kids and grandkids. He loved watching them grow up and always made it a priority to be there for their various sporting activities, especially baseball. Larry was an avid fisherman and passed his love of fishing onto his children and grandchildren.
Larry was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Larry is preceded in death by both his parents, Berlie and Edna Winingear.
Larry is survived by his fianc, Diana Bates; five children, Craig Winingear, Melissa Winingear, and Michelle Dungan, Benjamin Michael Thompson and Christine Nichole Moore; one brother, Evan Winingear and wife, Deborah; one sister, Mary Ann Kirby; five grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Hailey, Jenica, and Nikita.
