Larry Don Longan

Larry Don Longan, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Perry, Oklahoma. There will be a private family graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coyle at a later date.
Larry was born on August 14, 1942 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Ira Don and Ollie Anna (Bentley) Longan. Larry grew up in Coyle, Oklahoma and graduated from Coyle High School in 1960. On November 1, 1972 he married Carolyn Davis in Henrietta, Oklahoma.
Larry was a beloved husband, dad and papa. He volunteered to transport children with medical needs to Shriner’s Hospitals and was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He loved to learn new things and he was passionate about politics. He was a lifelong OSU fan and he was always ready with a corny joke and a smile. He was a friend to all.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his son Roy Lee Bilyeu; daughter Hazel Wade; his sisters Eunice Foreman, Verna Lewis, and Neva Roberts.
Larry is survived by his wife Carolyn Longan; his children, son Charles Bilyeu, daughter Rena Hilburn, and daughter Heather Dietz and her husband Wayne; his sister Bonnie Reynolds; his grandchildren Teresa Diedrich, Sam Farr, Randi Hilburn, Megan Gorman, Ian Dietz, Lena Dietz, Terra Matthews, Ashley Henning, Stacy Hyke; his great grandchildren, Kelsea Diedrich, Michaela Fitzpatrick, Kimberly Diedrich, Madison Diedrich, Eleanor Kirby, Jenny Gorman, Diedra Farr, Demitri Farr, Kyler Hyke, Khloe Tipton, Abbie Heathman and Cali Henning; as well as his great grandchildren, Lillian, Lucian, Lorelai and Jaxsen.
