Laura Jean Wayman

Laura Jean Wayman, 39, of Stillwater passed from this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Derrick Belase presiding. The family will be present at the funeral home to greet friends on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 1:00 pm 6:00 pm.
Laura was born on February 17, 1973 to David and Linda Wayman in Perry, Oklahoma. She moved around a lot, but called Arkansas City her home as a child. She settled in Stillwater in 1998 after the birth of her second child. In her spare time she enjoyed swimming, shopping (for nothing in particular), talking on the phone and listening to music. She also enjoyed making others listen to the music she discovered so they could listen to the words. Her favorite activity, however, was taking care of her grandchildren. Laura is survived by her two children Mykah Wayman and Joseph Wayman, mother Linda Fultz, two grandchildren, Kamrynn and Travis Jr, and her four sisters, Alaina Montoya, Gloria Wayman,Pauline Bouldin and Dottie McGuire. She was preceded in death by her father, David Wayman.
