Leeroy Glen Hunt

LeeRoy Glen Hunt, age 59, of Perry, OK was born on December 28th, 1950 in Clarinda, Iowa to Norman and Velma Snodgrass. LeeRoy passed from this life on September 23rd, 2010 in Perry, OK. LeeRoy grew up and attended school in Perry. He went to serve in the United States Army for 3 years, and spent time in Vietnam. On August 7, 1972 LeeRoy married Theresa June (Gregory) in Newkirk, OK. He enjoyed fishing, going to the coffee shop, watching wrestling, and working on cars. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, and grandfather to his family. Carrying on LeeRoy's memory are: Wife Theresa (Gregory) Hunt, Children: Jason Hunt of Holdenville, OK, Josh Hunt of Perry, OK, Michelle Mathews and James of Perry, OK, Kim Shinault of Stillwater, OK. Seven grandchildren. Siblings: Earl Hunt Sr. of Woodward, OK, Euther Copeland of Billings, OK. Helen Davis of Perry, OK, Edie Proutry of Maine, and Kay Bozarth from Gage, OK. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and grandson Isaiah Kelly Mathews. Memorial services for LeeRoy are scheduled for 9:00 am Wednesday September 29th, 2010 at the New Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Anderson officiating.
