Linda Kathryn Wilson

Linda Kathryn Wilson, 67, passed away on Dec 23, 2015 at her home in Stillwater, OK surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service is being planned for later this spring.
Linda was born in Stillwater on Aug 5, 1948 to N.B. and JoAnn (Mantooth) Thomas. She graduated from Durant High School in 1966. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma State University in 1970.
On Aug 2, 1969 she was united in marriage to Larry Wilson in Altus, OK. In 1970 they moved to San Antonio, TX where Linda took a teaching job. Returning to Stillwater in 1972, Linda began a 28 year career with the Oklahoma Department of Career Technology, retiring in November 2000.
The Wilson family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Lindas friend and private caregiver Connie Norrie for the amazing level of care and comfort that she showed Linda over the course of her illness. They also wish to thank Dr. Woody Jenkins, as well as JoAlice, Deanna, and Jennifer from Ross Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda is survived by her husband Larry Wilson of the home.; daughter Leslie (Greg) Holmes of Moore; and son Dan Wilson of Stillwater; brother David (Carla) Thomas of Altus; sister Terri (Robert) Skinner of Altus. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Katie McKinney of Little Rock, AR; Bryce, Seth, and Karsten Holmes of Moore, OK; and Kelsey, Reece, and Ty Wilson of Stillwater, OK.
Linda is also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and countless other friends and family.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lindas name to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
