Marcia Luker

Marcia Luker Born February 11, 1958. Died April 15, 2014. Age 56.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perkins, OK. A service will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Perkins Church of Christ on Lovers Lane with interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A public visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home from 5pm-7pm.
Marcia was the daughter of Robert M. Ahring and the late Janice Marie Ahring. Her three brothers Robert, Mark Stephen, and Jeff survive her. She was the wife of George W. Luker and step-mother to Lara Gray and Gretchen Luker. She had one grandson William Elliott Gray. She was raised in Stillwater, attended Stillwater High School and OSU where she worked until her retirement in July 2009. Marcia was a baptized believer and a member of the Perkins Church of Christ.
Marcia was an avid flower and vegetable gardener and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. She loved children and working with the children of the congregation. Her job at OSU made it possible for her to mentor many students and develop lifetime friendships. She was loved and admired by all.
