Margaret "Peggy" Sue Crenshaw

Margaret “Peggy” Claborn Crenshaw, 80, of Coyle, OK passed to her eternal home on October 9, 2022. She was born on December 30, 1941, in Texline, TX to John and Velma Jameson Claborn. Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater has been entrusted with her final care.

Peggy lived and went to grade school in Texline, TX through her early years prior to moving to Clayton, NM with her parents where she attended High School. After school, she lived in Texas and New Mexico, prior to settling in Oklahoma in 1972. She loved her family and always enjoyed family gatherings and traveling.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Dighton Marler Funeral Home from 9am-5pm with family greeting guests from 3-5pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15 at 2:00 PM at the Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, 5106 North Washington St., Stillwater, OK 74075 with Jeffery Holt officiating. A private family burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Coyle.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Crenshaw of the home and children Rob Wheeler, his wife Joella of Castle Rock, CO, Kandi Zimmerman, her husband Wes Zimmerman of Oklahoma City, OK, Jay Crenshaw, and his wife Leslie of Coyle, OK.

Peggy is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Mindi Wilson and Sherrie Brown, brother JW Claborn and sister Willene Hemphill.
