Marthalena Allen

Marthalena Allen, Age 77, of Perry, OK was born on February 1st 1932 in Hitchita, Oklahoma to William and Maude (Raines) Morton and passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2009. She grew up and attended school in Hitchita, Oklahoma, later graduating from high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She and Wayne Allen were married on August 8th, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her hobbies included fishing and garage sales and she loved teaching Sunday School. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church of Perry. Services will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 2pm with Brother Roger Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery. Fir, Perry, OK 73077 In addition to her husband Wayne of Perry, Marthalena is survived by one daughter, Vicki Allen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one son David of Perry, Oklahoma, grandsons Daniel Allen and Caleb Allen, granddaughter, Christina Whitehurst, two great-grandchildren, Korde Allen and Meredith Whitehurst, and one sister, Kathryn Mandeville, Portland, Oregon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters. Services have been entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 203 E. Fir, Perry, Ok.
