Michael Wade Knott

Michael Wade Knott, 54, of Morrison passed from this life on August 14, 2013 at his home. Mike was born on December 27, 1958 in Perry, OK to Melvin LeRoy and Peggy Joyce Knott . He grew up and attended schools in Morrison. Following his high school graduation, Mike began a long career as a roughneck in the oilfields of Oklahoma.
Mike was an easy going guy who was blunt, outspoken, and he was known for his dark sense of humor . Mike enjoyed listening to rock and classical music. He also enjoyed surfing the internet, being around children, and talking with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Danny Knott. He is survived by his step-father Jim Dollarhide. Siblings: Tony Knott, Eddie Dollarhide, Lisa Moore, and LeRoy Knott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mikes name to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
