Mildred Lorene Stephens

Mildred Lorene Stephens age 60 of Stillwater passed away early Wednesday morning, July 7, 2010 at her home. Her services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and will be private.
Mrs. Stephens was born on December 28, 1949 in Perry, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Walter William and Ida (Shelton) Gottfried. She grew up in Perry and attended Perry Schools. In 1964 she moved to Stillwater. She worked as a cook for several different restaurants in Stillwater, Tonkawa and Perry. She retired in 2001. She enjoyed her animals, auctions and her grandchildren.
Mildred in survived by two sons, Alex Stephens and wife Oktober of Durango, Colorado and Zachary Stephens of the home; three daughters, Mona Simmons and husband Tom of Wilcox, Arizona, Tonya Stephens and husband Steve Edwards of Stillwater and Katrena Fitch of the home; six brothers, Cleo Gottfried and wife Bobbie of Evanston, Wyoming, Rockey Gottfried and wife Sherry of Stillwater, Randy Gottfried of Stillwater, Stoney Gottfried and wife Cheryl of Tryon, Cecil W. Gottfried and wife Randa of Enid, Lloyd Gottfried and wife Kim of Stillwater; 2 half brothers, Stormy Gottfried and wife Diane of Texarkana, Texas; Clay Gottfried and wife of Jonesboro, Louisiana; three sisters, Barbara Bloom of Stillwater, Shirley Schwandt of Stillwater, Connie Kendle of Stillwater; half sister, Sheila Griffith and husband Lonnie of Jonesboro, Louisiana and ten grandchildren, Aaron Nash, Heather Nash, Tyner Sims, Atira Tracy, Cyan Stephens, Ellyas Stephens, Nicole Birch, Savannah Stephens, Sarenatie Fitch and Zaibren Long.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
