Patricia Jean (Nuttle) Bennett

Patricia Jean Nuttle Bennett, of Ponca City, passed away on Monday, May 14,

2012 at her home surrounded by family. Services are under the direction of

Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home of Stillwater and will be held at 2:00

on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Resthaven Cemetery in Ponca City.

Patricia was born on December 4, 1944 in Pawnee Oklahoma to Oscar and

Willie (Jones) Nuttle. She grew up in the Ponca City area, and attended

Ponca City High School. She will be remembered as a loving mother,

grandmother, sister, and aunt to her large family.

Patricia was employed at Air System Components for 20 plus years, and

before that worked for many years in local restaurants. She was always

known as a reliable, consistent worker, and took a lot of pride in being

able to pay her own way. Her greatest joy in her last days was spending

time with her family, especially her three great-grandchildren. They never

failed to bring a smile to her face.

Patricia was married to James Allen Bennett in 1985 until his death in

2004.

Patricia is survived by her children Ricky Nuttle and Sonya Nuttle,

siblings Mary Ann Wilcher, and Larry Frank Nuttle, grandchildren Austin

Nuttle, Kerri Nuttle, Matt Wallace, Jamie Wallace, and Timmy Wallace, three

great grandchildren, Amora Skye Hutson, Rylynne Raye Hutson, and Mason

David Wallace, as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and

friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents, one sister,

Martha Sue Stout, and a brother, Donald Lee Nuttle.
