Pauline Ruth Nichols

September 6, 1924 — September 7, 2020

Mom; Pauline grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma when you could walk halfway across the city to the amusement park, pay $0.10 and spend the day having fun. Her life wasn’t the best but she was always there for us kids. She was diagnosed in 2008 with Alzheimer's, living 12 more very good years. She made several good friends and had a fun time most of those years while living at the Green Valley Nursing Home.

She loved her animals and her flowers but she loved her Grand-kids much, much more. Besides her Grand kids, she was unaware she had fourteen Great-Grand kids plus one Great-Great Granddaughter. Pauline died Monday September 7th; one day after turning 96 years of age. There will be a graveside service Friday September 11th at 10:00 am at Grace Hill Cemetery.

She leaves behind five children, Nancy Dawes Bush of Perry; Jerry Dawes of Perry; Judy Dawes Hicks of Sapulpa; Patti Dawes Taylor of Carney; and Connie Dawes of Perkins, OK. There are eight Grandchildren, Lonnie Loveless and Ronnie Karcher of Perry; Alan Bargerstock of Greensburg, PA; Leah Dawes Furman of Stillwater and Keith Tayor, and Shannon Taylor of Carney, and Jason Taylor of Stillwater. She was proceeded in death by one grandchild, Stacy St Clair who died at the age of three. She always took care of everyone else first. Love you and we will miss you Mom!!
