Peggy Joe McNew Knight, age 69, of Glencoe, OK, passed from this life on November 13, 2010 in Cushing, OK. Peggy was born on April 26, 1941 to Cletis (Clay) McNew and Rosie Inskeep in LaJunta, CO. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1601 E Pine, Guthrie, OK with Rev. Mike Dunn presiding. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 16, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perkins, OK from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Peggy was married to Glen Elton Knight on December 15, 2004 in Chandler, OK. She is survived by her husband, Glen, daughters Laura Stokes and husband Tim of Glencoe, Carla Wehr and husband Dennis of Coyle, a brother Patrick Carmichael, sisters Kathy Carmichael, Treava Mann, and Judy Karney, 5 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, sons Billy Ray and Charles Edward, and a granddaughter Melody.
