RICHARD DEAN SUTTON
Funeral services for Richard Dean Sutton, age 72, of Stillwater, OK are scheduled for 10:00 am Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the Southern Heights Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Roach and Rev. Michael Bartley officiating. Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home. Mr. Sutton was born on March 9, 1935 to Harley and Iva May (Martin) Sutton in Arkansas City, Kansas. He grew up and attended school in Stillwater graduating with the class of 1954. He attended school at the Oklahoma State University, graduating with a B.S. in Business in 1959. Mr. Sutton, worked for Olivers Auction from 1952-1954, Crest Theatre, Carroll Engraving, San Diego, CA, Stillwater Laundry and Cleaners, as assistant manager from 1956-1972. Richard was the librarian for the Stillwater Public Library from 1972-2001 retiring in 2001 after 29 years of service. Mr. Suttons life accomplishments included a Citation of Appreciation by Mike Morgan, Certificate of Appreciation by the Payne Co. Commissioners and Certificate of Appreciation by the Project Heart. His hobbies included taking pictures of the fronts of movie theatres, marquees, having gained a extensive collection. He enjoyed listening to music of all kinds, making new friends and he always treasured his old ones. Mr. Sutton leaves his friends and family with these words Shalom to You. Richard went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 13, 2007 at his residence in Stillwater, OK.

3 Nieces: Tracy Dee Cruz and husband Steven of Round Lake Beach, Illinois Linda Lee Torres of Honolulu, Hawaii Cheryl Ann Smith of Tucson, Arizona
1 Nephew: Daniel Knapp Sutton of Honolulu, Hawaii
He is survived by many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother; Donald Lee Sutton.
