Robert Gordon Vincent

Robert Gordon ("Vince") Vincent was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on May 13, 1937 to Vera (Corbett) and Arthur Harold Douglas Vincent. He passed away on April 27, 2014 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He had early careers in computer programming, real estate, and property management in Washington and Georgia. He moved to Poteau, Oklahoma, in 1990, where he owned and managed a convenience store. Vince managed a Radio Shack in Tulsa and in Bartlesville for a number of years before taking a job as a bus driver for Bartlesville Public Schools. His hobbies were flying, painting, country dancing, travel, and photography.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, and one half-brother John. Vince leaves behind a wife, Arvina Vincent, of Stillwater; a step son, Brian Mitchell and wife Shelley, of Stillwater; a stepdaughter, Janis Mitchell, of Beulah, Colorado; a granddaughter, Bethany Mitchell, of Stillwater; and extended family (one half-brother, Ted, and one sister, Carole) in Canada.
