Roger Dale Morgan

Roger Dale Morgan age 78, passed from this life Tuesday March 22, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 29, 1944 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Ervin and Grace Morgan.

He grew up in Whitesboro, Oklahoma and attended Whitesboro Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1961. After graduation he honored his call of duty and served in the US Army. After his term of service was complete, he was honorably discharged and began his long career in construction. He enjoyed working with heavy equipment.

He married Linda Trowbridge May 21, 1965, and they were happily married for 57 years. He was a member of Lynn Lane Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He owned and operated a dozer service for many years, worked at Walden’s Machine for 15 years and enjoyed driving the bus for Catoosa Public School for 7 years. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was the leader of the convoy as the family all followed with campers and boats to Beaver Lake Arkansas, the families happy place.

He is survived by his wife Linda of the home, one son Chris and Rachel Morgan of Inola, OK, two daughters, Shelly and Fred Rogers of Catoosa, OK, Misti and Brian Louderback of McAlester, OK. Ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services, under the direction of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater, Oklahoma, will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at the Lynn Lane Baptist Church, 1200 S Lynn Lane Rd, Tulsa, OK. Burial will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery,12150 East 96 ST. N., Owasso, OK. There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home, 9901 N Owasso Expy, Owasso, OK.
