Russ Kittle

March 14, 1960 — February 1, 2011

Russell Irvin Kittle went to be with his Lord and savior after a long battle with cancer on February 1, 2011 at his moms house surrounded by family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home and will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 5, 2011. Russell was born on March 14, 1960 in Carrollton, Georgia to Herb and Nellie Kittle. He was the third child of six. He was raised in and attended Stillwater schools. Later he married his sweetheart of many years and the love of his life, Tonya Lynn Phillips. He loved her until her passing. He later remarried to Diana Neill and two beautiful children came from that marriage: Herbert Eugene and Nellie Diana. His children were the joy of his life, and he raised them to be their own person as Russ was. Russ had many titles including roofing, construction, City of Stillwater, mechanical shop. He liked working on Trucks, Cars, and motorcycles. Russ enjoyed all outside activities like camping, fishing, swimming, and hunting. He loved riding his Goldwing. Russell was a great son, brother, uncle, father and friend. To know Russ really was to love him. He will be greatly missed, and thought of often. Russell was preceded in death by his grandparents Rubin and Coralee Kittle, and Irvin and Lucy Belle Anderson, father Herbert G. Kittle, and sister Debbie K. Stokes. He is survived by son Herbert Eugene Kittle and Malorie Lozier, daughter Nellie Diana Kittle and Kenny Lee Alkirc, Jr., mother Nellie and stepfather Erwin Knott, two brothers C.L. Kittle and wife Beth and Chris Kittle and wife Robin, two sisters Terri Prince and Bruce Meyers and Tammie Behrends and husband Mike, four stepbrothers David, Daniel, Dennis, and Donald Knott, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors. Special thanks to Ginger and Hospice Care, Marilyn Kittle, Mozella Irwin, James Tucker, best friend Mr. Cantrell and many more.
