Susan Leeann Driskel

October 18, 1962 — April 28, 2023

Susan Leeann Driskel of Stillwater, passed away Friday morning, April 28, 2023, after an extended series of illnesses. She was 60. Cremation services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.


A Celebration of Susan’s Life will be Friday, May 5, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater.


Susan was the daughter of Max and Betty (Breazzeal) Driskel. Susan attended school in Glencoe where she graduated from Glencoe High School in 1980. After graduation Susan worked at a convenience store as a clerk where she enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life. She was known by many to have a bubbly spirit that could light up any room.


Susan was hard-working, strong, and independent. She was a proud cancer survivor that would love to share her testimony with anyone she could. She loved to bake, babysit, and play bingo. Her favorite thing to do in her free time was to spend time with her grandchildren Jamie, Dylan, & Daxton. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends any chance she got.


Survivors include her daughter Jennifer and Robin Carney of Stillwater, OK; her mother, Betty Driskel of Stillwater, OK; brothers, Maxie and wife Vickie of Georgia, Danny Driskel and wife Kelly of Yale, OK; sisters, Lisa Shell and husband Rex of Glencoe, OK; grandchildren, Jamie, Dylan, and Daxton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Max Driskel.
