Tonya Faye Edmonson

Tonya Faye Edmonson (Hunt) went home to her lord and savior January 21st, 2022. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
Tonya was born on April 3rd, 1973, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jeanice Peterson and Robert Hunt. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1992 and completed cosmetology, CNA, and phlebotomy trade school. Tonya worked in the health field until she succumbed to back injuries. Tonya was married to Barry Edmonson; they loved each other’s company so much you couldn’t keep them apart.
Tonya loved family and she never met a stranger, in fact she has almost 5,000 friends on Facebook. She was so passionate about knick knacks and jewelry. Her laugh was infectious, and she had a heart of gold.
She is survived by her parents Jeanice and Charlie Peterson; Robert and Anna Hunt; her husband; her sisters Heather Booth, Amanda Montgomery and Charles Montgomery, Shelley Nordin and Michelle Gowen; her brother Darren Peterson and Molly Peterson; her Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Larry (Dewey) and several other family members. Tonya was preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence and Lucille Peterson, Lonnie and Laverne Woodrow, Bob and Corky Hunt.
