Velma Ann Carmichael

Velma was born August 8, 1927 in Blackwell, OK the daughter of William and Elsie (Clavin) Frisch. She ended her earthly life on March 16, 2010 in Stillwater, OK.
Her childhood years were spent on a family farm east of Blackwell. She attended Weston School for 8 years and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1945. She worked as a telephone operator, as a sales clerk, and until her retirement in December 1989, she was in the restaurant business, which she enjoyed greatly.
She married J. C. Davidson in December 1947; he passed on in 1961. She moved to Washington State in 1972. She married Donald E. Carmichael on January 6, 1973, and for 18 years they were loving companions and dearest friends until his passing on March 4, 1991. She joined Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, Oklahoma, December 16, 1956. She and Don were active members of the Peace Lutheran Church in Chehalis, WA. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Stillwater, OK.
Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Carmichael; son, Jimmy Lee Davidson; both parents an older infant brother, Kenneth W. Frisch; older sister Willa Mae Overman; a brother-in-law, Ellis Overman; a sister-in-law, Beverly Frisch; and 2 great granddaughters, Alexandria Ibach and Carolina Jackson.
She is survived by a younger brother, Owen Frisch, of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Kay Ibach, of Spokane, WA; Sue Jackson of Stillwater, OK; and Paula Mook of Medford, OR; a son, Wesley Davidson, of Danville, VA; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. As well as, a number of nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
