Willena Faye Joyce Cunningham

Willena Faye Joyce Cunningham, 89 of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be 1:00PM to 6:00PM Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Dighton Marler Funeral Home Chapel of Perry. Services will be 2:00PM Monday August 30, 2021 at the First Christian Church of Perry. Reverend Josh Bell will officiate.
Willena was born September 11, 1931 in Cobb, Oklahoma to Travis and Lucy May Wilkerson. She grew up in Cobb Oklahoma. On March 6, 1953 she married Robert Cunningham Sr. in Durant Oklahoma. They were married 68 wonderful years.
Willena was all about family, she enjoyed golf, gardening and collected many carebears. She became a member of the First Christian Church in 1993 when she and Robert moved to Perry.
She is survived by her husband Robert Cunningham Sr. of Perry; two sons; Robert Cunningham and his wife Pamela, Perry, and George Cunningham and his wife Lori of Oklahoma City; one niece, her sister’s daughter, Verlena Walker and her husband Max, of Durant; grandchildren; Barry Cook and his wife Kristie, Duaine Cook and wife Cailyn, Bobby Cunningham and wife Melanie, Elisabeth Schrider and husband Mike, and Tyler Smith; great grandchildren; Lillian Cunningham, Bo Cunningham, Calvin Cunningham, Henry Cook and Asher Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and eight siblings; Eva Mae, Maggie Travis, Willie Earlene, Juanita, Irene, Júnior and J. Hugh.
Pallbearers are Barry Cook, Duaine Cook, Bobby Cunningham, Daniel Boecker, Allen Vaughn II, Daniel McCollum. Honorary pallbearer Mike Schrider.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
