William Corey Guenther

William Corey Guenther passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was 60. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2020 from noon until 8PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 10AM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.

William was born June 6, 1959 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to John James and Catherine Mildred (Lewis) Guenther. He grew up and attended school in Stillwater. While in high school he was involved with FFA. He showed pigs and won many ribbons and awards. He had one pig in particular that his mom would allow inside the house. The pig would also ride inside the truck with Billy when he had errands to run.

After high school he joined the United States Army where he served his country and was honorably discharged at the end of his tour. William thoroughly enjoyed his cold beer, cats, and country music. He was an Electrician by trade. Billy had a wonderful since of humor. He could keep you laughing at all of his stories and life adventures. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Terry of the home; nephew, John James Guenther and wife Jamie of Dallas, Texas; great-nephew, Carter Guenther; two stepdaughters, Michelle Beck of Nowata, Oklahoma, and Nikki Farrell and husband Josh of Stillwater, Oklahoma; other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one stepson, John Shay.
