Wynema Jacqueline Bay

Wynema Jacqueline Bay, 93, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, in Perry, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2023, from 1-6pm with family greeting guests form 4-6pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Wynema was born on September 1, 1929, in Sumner, Oklahoma to Rufus and Iva Lee (Howell) Stout. She grew up in the Sumner area and graduated from Sumner High School in 1947. She married her high school sweetheart Donald Bay on August 17, 1950, at Sumner Baptist Church in Sumner, Oklahoma.

Wynema did many things as an adult, she drove a wheat truck, milked cows, fed the harvest workers lavish meals under a shade tree or on the tailgate of a pickup truck. She enjoyed mowing their large yard, she was a member of the Golden Circle Women’s Club, and she loved chocolate. She was always attending sporting events for their children and grandchildren all over the United States, Hot, Cold, Rain or Snow! They were also named the Noble County Farm Family of the year.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Iva Stout, her husband, Donald Bay; her siblings, Norma Zemp, Evelyn Spillman, Everett Stout, and son in law Gary Mack.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie Bay, Cheryl Mack, Donna Gallaway and husband Marty, and Shelby Wagner and husband Evan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan Bay and wife Denise, Greg Gallaway and wife Lisa, Travis Gallaway and wife Jennifer, Julie Simmons and husband Steve and Bryson Wagner, as well as her great grandchildren, Bryer Bay, Daxton Gallaway, Savannah Cantu, Grayson Gallaway, Tyler Smith, Brady Simmons and Halie Simmons, and other family friend Denise Bay.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Bay, Greg Gallaway, Travis Gallaway, Bryson Wagner, Steve Simmons, and Steve Zemp.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the First Baptist Church, c/o Dighton Marler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 189, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
