Anna Doris Waters

Anna Doris Waters, 79, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 1:00pm at Akins Cemetery near Sallisaw. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Anna Doris was born on January 14, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Jack and Margaret Jiles. She grew up in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and graduated from Central High School in Sallisaw, Oklahoma in 1959. She married Billy Waters on January 15, 1959 in Akins, Oklahoma. Anna Doris loved quilting, gardening, socializing, Hallmark movies and cherished her children, grand and great grandchildren.

Anna Doris is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Billy, daughter Deborah Diane and great grandson Coldyn.

She is survived by her children, Susan Ramirez (Santos) of Canton, North Carolina, Melinda Hamilton (Tim) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Leonard Waters (Jennifer) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Joe Phillips (Dian) of Clearwater, Kansas. She is also survived by her siblings, Bernell Jiles, Raymond Jiles, Jackie Jiles, Wanda Kay Smithson and her grandchildren, Erica Kessling (Jason), Mary Ornelas (Jessica), Tiffany Citizen (Corey), Brooke Belcher, Dustin Hamilton (Heather), Erika Ramirez, Shae Parker (Presley), Gage Hamilton (Cadie), Raymond Ramirez, ShyAnne Phillips, Madison Waters, Joe Phillips, Hunter Waters, Kaylee Waters, Kenna Waters, Abby Carlson, Caden Carlson, Wyatt Ross as well as her great grandchildren, Jacob Hensley, Garrett Keesling, Baylor Citizen, Cash Richardson, Eva Belcher, Brantley Hamilton, Hagen Hamilton, Charlie Mae Parker, Havyn Meece, Vivian Ornelas, Sophia Waters, Jakob Lash and two new bundles of joy joining our family soon.
