Bill Dean Hunter

Bill Dean Hunter, age 82, of Glencoe passed away at his home on December 20, 2021, in Glencoe, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
He was born on April 24, 1939, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Ramond and Sylvia (Gertude) Hunter. Bill grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School. Later in life Bill went on to work at Atwood’s working his way up to manger of retail. For fun Bill loved to hang out with his BK bar family.
Bill was preceded in death by his spouse Cathy Hunter; parents Ramond and Sylvia Hunter; one brother Don Hunter, and one sister Vickie Fletcher.
Bill is survived by his three children, Mike Lea of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Robin Hatchock of Glencoe, Oklahoma, and Tony Hackney of Overland Park, Kansas; three brothers, Dennis Hunter and wife Caroline, Keith Hunter and wife Karen of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Phillip Hunter of Ponca City, Oklahoma; his grandchildren: Jeremy Lea and wife Jamie, Summer Foust, Jousha Hatchock, and Kaden Hackney as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be determined.
