Carol Sue Wright

Carol Sue Wright, 76, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in Stillwater. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1pm-6pm and Monday from 9am-8pm with family greeting guests from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 4:00pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home Chapel. Dighton Marler Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Carol was born on April 8, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Ruby Roark. She grew up in St. Louis and later moved to Southern California where she married and began her family. She later moved to Kingman, Arizona where her passion was cliff diving. She then moved to Stillwater and married the love of her life Alex Wright on June 3, 1995 at Sunnybrook Christian Church in Stillwater.
She loved baking, gardening and the holidays with her family. She enjoyed camping, crocheting crossword puzzles and her cats. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her eyes.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her children Dennis and Daniel Bertrand and her siblings Betty Hemstreet and J.W. Roark.
She is survived by her husband Alex Wright, her children Diana Sue Dunbar, David Frank Bertrand and wife Jenise, Darrin Scott Bertrand and Megan. Her grandchildren; Adam and wife Shana, Dennis and wife Michelle and Daniel Dunbar, Cody, David, Marcus, Timothy, Christopher, Nova and Sara Bertrand and her great grandchildren Madison, Ethan, Trevor, Hunter, Emma, Kimberly and Evan Dunbar.
