Carol-Jean Planthaber, 68, of Stillwater passed from this life on August 4, 2013 at her home. Carol-Jean was born on Dec 13, 1944 in Far Rockaway, NY to William and Jean (Roche) Planthaber. Carol was a renowned pianist and she devoted her life to teaching others the joy she found in beautiful music. Carol-Jean was a quiet and intelligent woman who will be missed by her friends and the many students she taught during her tenure at Oklahoma State University. A service celebrating Carols life will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stillwater
