Charles Barrett

April 15, 1950 — January 12, 2020

Charles “Wild Man” Barrett passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 due to complications from liver cancer. He was 69.
Charles was born April 15, 1950 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Frederick Clay and Eileen Nadeen (Harris) Barrett. He grew up just north of Stillwater and graduated from C. E. Donart High School. He worked as an independent cross-country truck driver for the past 25 years.
Survivors include his mother, Nadeen Barrett of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two sons, Clay Barrett and wife Marga, and Jerod Barrett all of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one grandson, Xavier Barrett of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and one sister Jeanne Barrett of Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Barrett.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 9 AM to 8 PM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater. A Celebration of Charles’s life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11 AM in Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like anyone that attends the funeral to bring a story to share about Charles.
