Christopher Dean, born November 2, 1994, in Portsmouth, Virginia, passed away on May 5, 2026, in Sparks, Nevada. A man of youthful spirit and diverse interests, Christopher leaves behind a legacy marked by his passion for creativity and dedication to his work.
Christopher graduated from Lincoln Academy in 2015 and continued to pursue his love for technology and design by earning a coding and design certificate from Full Sail University in 2019. His professional journey included his role at Tesla, where he was employed on the production line, contributing his skills and precision to the advancement of innovative automotive technology.
Beyond his professional life, Christopher was known for his varied hobbies which spoke to his vibrant and imaginative nature. He had a keen interest in medieval culture, enjoyed playing Magic the Gathering, and cherished building with Legos. Additionally, he was an avid collector of figurines, an enthusiast of old school horror films, and an admirer of anime. His love extended to his cherished cat, Gizmo, who was a beloved companion.
Christopher is survived by his devoted parents, Steven Dean and Leah Furman, his sister Tessa Dean, and his brother Logan Furman. They remember him not only as a family member but as a kind and spirited individual who brought joy and creativity into their lives.
Services celebrating Christopher’s life will begin with a visitation on May 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stillwater - Dighton Marler Funeral Home located at 5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, Oklahoma. The funeral service will be held on May 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Following the funeral service, burial will take place at Lanier Cemetery in Stillwater at 3:00 PM.
Christopher Dean’s life, though cut short, was marked by enthusiasm, dedication, and a rich tapestry of interests that deeply touched those who knew him. He will be remembered with respect and affection by his family, friends, and all who were privileged to share in his journey.
