It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Cleo Rose, who departed this life on March 20, 2026, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Born on November 30, 1937, in Carney, Oklahoma, Cleo's life was marked by dedication, warmth, and a rich legacy that will be treasured by all who knew her.
Cleo was a proud graduate of Stillwater High School, class of 1956, where her journey of lifelong learning and community involvement began. Over the years, she contributed her talents and professionalism to several notable establishments, including Stillwater National Bank, Perkins Y Livestock Auction, and the respected CPA firms of Steven Cundiff. Then she was then employed by Indian Meridian Technology center where she established bid assistance programs throughout Oklahoma. She continued her working career by assisting Dr. Bob Story. She retired from the office of the CPA Tom Duggar. Her expertise and commitment in these roles were a testament to her strong work ethic and unwavering integrity.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cleo was a woman of diverse interests. She took great joy in the world of taxes by assisting over 320 businesses and individuals with their income taxes—a field she navigated with adeptness—and cherished spending quality time with her family. Her passion extended to watching sports, particularly as an enthusiastic fan of Oklahoma State University, and she found immense delight in watching her children play sports, a pursuit that connected deeply with her love of tradition and family.
Cleo Rose’s surviving family includes her devoted son, Greg Rose, who carries forward her spirit and dedication. Her legacy extends through her cherished grandchildren: Brandon Frame, J.T. Garrett, Michael Rose, Luke Cazzelle, Tobi Garrett, Jozie Rose, and Shea Rose. This beloved family circle further expands to include great-grandchildren Morgan and Jaxon, Mila Bolen alongside Hudson Frame and Jacob Garrett, who are also part of the generations she so lovingly nurtured.
She is also mourned by the memory of her children who have preceded her in death: Carla Ann (Rose) Frame, Guy Wesley Rose, Cinthia Louis Rose, and Connie Lynn Rose, whose spirits remain ever present in the hearts of those she loved.
In honor of Cleo’s life and legacy, visitation will be held on March 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Stillwater - Dighton Marler Funeral Home, located at 5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, Oklahoma. A graveside service will follow on the morning of March 25, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6500 South Perkins Road in Stillwater.
As we remember Cleo Rose, her enduring spirit, dedication to family, and vibrant enthusiasm for life stand as a beacon of inspiration. She leaves behind a legacy rich in love and community, forever imprinted on the lives of all fortunate to have shared in her remarkable journey.
